A Fun But Effective Approach for Kids

Have you always wanted to give your child the gift of music but without all the stress of practice?

Or, if you had lessons before, did you used to run and hide when your piano teacher came to teach you?

Or have you heard the stories about piano teachers that made music lessons feel tedious? Or practicing feel hard, impossible, or take way too much time?

What about all the stories of kids quitting because:

  • “Practice was too hard,” or

  • “I never made progress,” or

  • “It was all posture and horribleness,” and on…

Sometimes, the problem could be as simple as: "I left every lesson and just didn't know what to do...

We want to tell you that this is all avoidable!

A Better Way to Do Piano Lessons

We help kids see fast piano progress and have fun doing it.

Lessons are once a week, though some students come twice a week to get extra practice.

These weekly lessons will help kids build the chops and confidence to eventually learn Star Wars tunes on their own within a few weeks…this type of achievement is routine here.

You’ll also get practice tips and support along the way. Most piano studios do not offer this level of personal attention. Parents here really appreciate this because they feel included in their child’s learning!

A parent told us this fact about her child recently:

“She loves it. Don't have to nag her to practice. She just goes and does it.”

That is what happens when we ditch the old-school knuckle-rapping piano lesson stigma.

What if piano lessons were taught by a warm and encouraging teacher? What if the whole experience could be both relaxing and effective?

Kids feel at ease and learn deep this way. Then they'll do amazing things...

  • Students move at a brisk pace to master the basics of sight-reading and rhythm. The unique format helps them play their favorites, Star Wars, Beatles, Beethoven, holidays songs, etc, as soon as possible. One student was so excited that he ran to YouTube after his lesson, on his own, to look up how to play a complex part in the Beatles song he loves!

  • Students learn their songs with us and all assignments are crystal clear. This means they leave each lesson with confidence, not confusion.

  • We help them break down their resistances to learning so that new obstacles rev them up instead of defeat them.

  • Students are encouraged to compose & create. One student uses her skills to jam with her family of musicians!

  • Kids and their parents routinely refer their friends to our studio so that they can build their piano skills together!

  • Students get patient and nurturing guidance so that learning piano feels easy instead of stressful. Once, a very shy 4-year-old girl resisted lessons. We struggled for weeks. We finally hit our groove and within two years, she wowed all the older students at our recital when she played Beethoven in front of 50 people!

We commit to a month of lessons at a time, but we know your child will love it so much that they’ll want to keep going!
